Big game fishing - Sofía 

Yate Sofia S.L. is the most established company in Tenerife offering boat trips. 

Since 1967 they have taken holidaymakers cruising and fishing from the south of the island.

Always family owned since John Damaso began operating back then, now Johnny, his son, has taken over the big game fishing side of the business.

Sofía is a Striker 44 built entirely of marine aluminum with a hull designed especially for offshore fishing, a type of fishing that requires a hull with special characterstics.

The boat's home port is Los Cristianos where Johnny knows all the professional fishermen in the area and is informed daily of the movements of tuna and other fish so as to be able to take you to where they are.

Sofía specializes in trolling for large pelagic fish such as tuna and marlin.
